Imogene Richardson, age 88, of Washington, passed away at 9:32 PM on Saturday at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on September 21, 1924 in New Harmony, Indiana to George and Helen (Fisher) Jacobs. She was a 1942 graduate of Mt Carmel High School. She had owned and operated her own beauty shop for a number of years before retirement. She is survived by three sons and daughters in-law, Dennis E. and Carol of Valparaiso, Thomas O. and Jennie Richardson of Washington, and Keith A. and Mary Richardson of Longmont, Colorado; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey M. Richardson on September 1, 1992 whom she had married on February 18, 1947. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens in West Lafayette, Indiana. There will be no visitation. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
