Imogene Morris, age 78 formerly of Washington passed away at 2:59 p.m. Sunday at Norton Suburban Hospital in Louisville, KY. Born June 14, 1930 in Elberfeld, she was the daughter of Claude Ellis and Mary (McCrae) Williams. She attended Warrick County Schools and was a member of the Baptist faith. She is survived by two sons, William Charles Morris of Elizabethtown, KY, and Claude Ellis Morris of Shepherdsville, KY; a daughter Carolyn Kay Brown of Shepherdsville, KY; two sisters, Shirley Speth of Bicknell, and Glenda Williams of Texas; a brother Donald Williams of Washington; and nine grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Morris in 1969; five brothers, Walter, Hughie, Harvey, Glendon, and John E. Williams, and three sisters, Norma Lucas, Faye Meeker, and Rowena. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will be in Plainville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
