Geneva I. Grove, age 92 of Washington, passed away an 11:05 PM on Thursday at Golden Living Nursing Home at Petersburg. She was born on October 19, 1919 in Washington to Herbert and Myrtle (Devine) Allen She was a member of the Washington Eagles. She loved watching the butterflies and birds, and Watching NAS Car on TV. She is survived by her grandchildren, Debbie Nail of Washington, Robin Willis of Petersburg, Randy McClellan of Vincennes, Sherry Willis of Winslow, Shelly Fowler of Washington, Millard Grove Jr. of Florida, Sara Grove of Florida, and Paula Grove of Washington; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; two sisters, Helen English and Tina Boger both of Washington; and two brothers, Howard Allen of Conyers, Ga. and Charles Allen of Altoona, Pa. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Grove; three daughters, Betty Faith, Millie Ellis, and Rita Willis; one son Millard Grove Sr.; one sister, Betty Harrington; four brothers, Herbert Allen Jr., Bill Allen, Robert Allen, and Kenneth Allen; and one grandson, Marty Fowler. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Rev. George Faith officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
