Helen R. Keller, 94, Washington passed away at 7:20 AM on Monday at Washington Nursing Center. She was born December 22, 1911, in Daviess County to the late Frank and Ulla (Goodwin) Dobbyn. She was educated in the Veale Township Schools and was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church. She was a member of the Daviess County Art League. Surviving are one son, John L. Keller, Washington, three sisters, Inez Smith, Valeria Yeager, and Lennis Fields, all of Washington, eight grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Keller, whom she married, October 20, 1931 and he died February 7, 1982, a son, Gary Keller, a daughter, Betty Stoll, and, three brothers, Everett, Richard, and Art Dobbyn. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday at St Simon Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery.
