Gregory M. Queen, 45, of Jasper, passed away at 5:10 a.m. on Tuesday at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born May 31, 1967 in Port Smith, Va.; he was the son of Michael and Sandy (Wilson) Queen. He graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1985 and also was a graduate of Vincennes University and had attended Purdue University. He was a computer programmer for Net Scout in San Jose, Ca. He and his daughter moved back to Indiana in January 2012 from Brentwood, California were they had lived for several years. He enjoyed bike riding, camping, and hiking in California. He is survived by his parents of Washington; one daughter, Marie Catherine Queen of Jasper; one sister and brother in-law; Misty and Don Woods of Celestine; one nephew; Ben Woods of Celestine; and his grandmother, Mary Elizabeth Queen of Washington He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Ernie and Frankie Wilson, and Daniel 'Tucker' Queen. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm on Friday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
