Grace Louise (Nolley) Butler, 89, passed away at her Washington residence during the evening of August 22, 2024. She was born in Washington on April 27, 1935, to Vernon P. and Lois (Coleman) Nolley. She was married to Ivan Gene Butler and he has preceded her in death.

Grace had worked at the Holiday Inn Express. A woman of many interests, she enjoyed watching golf matches and IU Basketball on TV. She volunteered at the hospital and was a candy striper. She was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Central Christian Church.

Grace is survived by her brother, Nicholas Nolley of Washington; a nephew, Nicholas Cawthon of Palmetto, Georgia; nieces, Diora Jean Mayfield of Palmetto, Georgia and Lisa McDonald of Palmetto, Georgia.

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Lois Nolley; husband, Ivan Gene Butler; and sister, Milinkia Ruth McDonald.
