Gertrude Rodimel, age 100, passed away at 9:30 PM on Friday, July 4, 2014, at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 31, 1914 in Washington to Theodore N. and Marie (Kelly) Mandabach. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a woman of great faith in God and was an avid quilter and painter. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Braun; two brothers, Thomas Mandabach of Nashville, TN and Martin Mandabach of Kansas City, Kansas; 14 Grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Art Rodimel whom she married on September 21, 1938, on April 16, 2014 A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Monday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:30 till 9 AM on Monday at the Church. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
