George David Spencer, age 83, of Maineville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, at his residence.

Born in 1935 to David and Mildred (Harris) Spencer in Evansville, IN, George spent over 30 years as the owner of Spencer's Antiques in Waynesville, Ohio.  He earned his degree from Indiana University and served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife, Fay F. (Wagner) Spencer; his children Donna (Jim) Chilcote, David (Darla) Spencer, and Randolph (Mia) Spencer; and his step-children Tom (Carla) Johnson, and Mike (Kim) Johnson, and the following grandchildren: James Roosevelt, Amy Lee, and Spencer David Chilcote; Sarah Olivia Spencer, Karina Alexandra Reedy Spencer, Aidan and Maura Johnson, and Katelyn and Nicole Johnson. He is also survived by his sisters Carolyn (William) Rheinhardt, Marilyn (Daniel) Koch, and his brothers Fredrick (Doris) Spencer, and Lee (Linda) Spencer.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, June 27 at St John Cemetery, in Washington, Indiana with Father Paul Ferguson officiating. Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Washington American Legion and V.F.W.

There will be no visitation.
