George D. "Frog" Brown, age 75 of Washington passed away December 17, 2015 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital. He was born February 19, 1940 to Catherine (Tinkle) and George S. Brown in Shoals. He had worked at Chevyland and Wal-Mart in maintenance. He is survived by his wife, Vickie (Bell) Brown whom he married July 4, 1970, two sons; Curtis (Diana) Brown of Hartford, CT, Tony (Crystal) Brown of Jasper, a daughter Angela (Red) Divine of Washington, ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two sisters; Helen Seatcot of Shoals and Esther Jones of Loogootee. Preceding him in death were both parents, brothers; Dick Brown, Bill Brown, sisters; Joan Combs and Linda Clifton. Funeral services will be celebrated Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary with Rev. John Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Wesleyan Cemetery in Loogootee. Visitation will be Monday from 9 - 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary.
