Gary L. Wolven, age 63 of Washington, passed away at 5:52 AM on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at his residence.

He was born in Washington on June 10, 1954 to Donald and Phyllis (Troutman) Wolven. He graduated from Barr-Reeve High School in 1973. He enjoyed fishing, mowing his yard, gardening and mushroom hunting.

He is survived by his wife Judy (Trayler) Wolven, whom he married July 1, 1977; son, Darrell Wolven of Washington; brother, David (Sandy) Wolven of Washington; sister, Debbie (Steve) Neukam of Washington and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Wolven; three nephews, Tony Catt, Jeremy Wolven and Christopher Strange.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
