Gage Harrison
Auberry
Jul 7, 2001 — Oct 12, 2026
Gage Harrison Auberry, 25, went to his heavenly home on October 12, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories and a love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
Gage was born on July 7, 2001, in Washington, Indiana, to Jessica Roark and Jacob Auberry.
To know Gage was to love him. He had a smile that could brighten even the darkest of days, a heart full of kindness, and a way of making everyone around him feel special. His fun-loving personality, sweet nature, and warm, welcoming hugs were just a few of the things that made him so unforgettable. Gage never needed to be the center of attention to light up a room; his presence alone was enough. He had a beautiful way of bringing joy to others, and those fortunate enough to have been wrapped in one of his hugs knew just how much love he had to give.
Gage found happiness in the simple wonders of life. He loved being outdoors, surrounded by nature, and enjoyed exploring historical places and discovering the stories they held. He had a passion for lifting weights and was an enthusiastic football fan, proudly cheering on his Indiana Hoosiers and Seattle Seahawks. Whether he was enjoying the beauty of the outdoors, spending time with those he loved, or simply sharing a laugh, Gage embraced the moments that made life special.
Above all, Gage will be remembered for the love he gave so freely. He had a gentle heart, a contagious smile, and a spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone he met. His life, though far too short, was filled with moments of laughter, friendship, and love. While his family and friends would give anything for just one more smile, one more laugh, or one more of his unforgettable hugs, they will forever carry those precious memories close to their hearts.
Gage leaves behind his loving mother, Jessica Roark; his girlfriend, Nichole Williams, and her three children, Liam, Addy, and Ayden; his siblings, Laila and Presly “PJ” Thompson; his grandparents, Tim (Debbie) Roark and John (Sherry) Auberry; his aunt, Chandra Auberry, and cousins, Alexa, Kainen, and Kingstin; his uncle, Adam Roark, and family; and his special cousin, Dillon Roark. He also leaves behind his best friend, Julius Hardiman, and his family, Macy and Malik Hardiman, along with many others whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Auberry; his paternal great-grandfather; and his maternal great-grandparents.
Though Gage's time here on earth was much too brief, the love he shared will never fade. His beautiful smile will live on in the memories of those who loved him, his laughter will echo in their hearts, and the warmth of his hugs will never be forgotten.
A memorial service honoring Gage’s life will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Ed L. Lee Mortuary, with Brad Rainy officiating.
