Obituary

Frances Fitch, age 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice in Evansville, Indiana. Frances was born April 6, 1937, in Washington, Indiana to the late Eugenia "Jean" M. (Wade) and Francis "Frank" J. Bruner. She was a graduate from Washington Catholic High School in 1955. She retired from Crane Naval Depot. She was referred to as Aunt Fanny. Aunt Fanny was a wonderful loving Aunt who was always a source of good unbiased advice, joy and friendship. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, John R. Fitch Jr. and his son, Dirk; brother, James "Jim" L. Bruner of Washington; niece, Joyjean Simpson of Henderson, Kentucky; three nephews, James "Mike" (Gisela) Bruner of Evansville John Bruner of Evanville, and Jeffrey (Karon) Bruner of Evansville; three great nephews, Jacob "Jake", Anthony "AJ", and Austin Bruner; and one great-great nephew, Seph Bruner all of Evansville. Frances is also preceded in death by her step daughter, Lisa Fitch. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Washington. Entombment at Sugarland Memory Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm Friday, April 10 at Ed Lee Mortuary. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice and staff for their compassionate and loving care.
