Fanny S. Roberts age 86 of Washington passed away on Tuesday at 2:35 PM at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes. She was born on December 31,1919 in Sotteville-les-Rouen, Frances to the late Louis and Marie (Maignre') Barbier. She Graduated from an accounting school in Frances and worked as an accountant in Frances during and after World War II. She married Camille Roberts on December 10,1945 in Frances and he preceded her in death on February 27,1992. She was a member of St. Simon Catholic Church. Surviving are her two loving children and their spouses; Mary Frances Bannett and husband Richard of Washington and Patrick L. Roberts and wife Gloria of Crawfordsville. Also surviving is the sparkles of her eyes, her three grandchildren and spouse; Robert Bennett and wife Shannon of Seattle, Washington, Nicole Bennett of West Lafayette, and Andrew Roberts Crawfordsville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 AM at St. Simon Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will be in St John Cemetery.Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary with a Christian wake service at 4:00 PM.
