Ermel wonder, age 92, passed away Friday at 11:52 a.m. at Eastgate Manor in Washington. She was born May 19, 1922 to Myrtle (Davidson) and William R. Purdue in Washington. Ermel worked at Uniroyal for years. She belonged to the Eagles Auxillary and loved playing cards, especially Euchre. She is survived by daughters; Rosemary Delaney, Alice Marie Wonder, and all of Washington, Joyce Lynn Marchino of Ireland, sons; Richard Dean Wonder of Washington, Jerry Lee Wonder of Orlando, Florida, 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren,brother; Lavon Purdue of Washington. Preceding Ermel in death were her parents, her husband Earl Wonder, whom she married May 7, 1938, passed away December 27, 1996, three brothers; Lowell Purdue, Clarence Purdue and Ruben Charles, and two sisters; Inez Faye Purdue, Gladys Mattingly and Alda Purdue, daughter; Betty Lou Erbacher, son; Jack Wonder Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. the same day at Ed Lee Mortuary.
