Obituary

Elizabeth "Diane" McKinley, 75, passed away at her Washington residence on May 26, 2024. She was born in Washington, May 5, 1949, to Marion and Mary Frances (Padgett) McKinley.

Diane was a 1967 graduate of Washington Catholic High School. After graduation, she worked for the Dianna Shop and was an aide at the Daviess Community Hospital. Diane retired from K-Mart, where she worked in customer services for over nineteen years. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery. A devout Catholic, Diane was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Hope.

Those who mourn Diane's passing include her aunt, Elizabeth "Betty" Potts of Washington; and her cousin, Anna P. Potts of Evansville. Diane also leaves several cousins.
Diane was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Mary Frances McKinley; maternal grandmother, Pauline Padgett; uncle, Bernard Padgett; and cousin, Joseph Potts.

Visitation for Diane McKinley will be 4:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Diane McKinley will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 6, 2024, at our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd Street, Washington. Father Paul Ferguson will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
