Obituary

Elizabeth M. Dillon age 81 of Montgomery passed away on Monday at 6:46 PM at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on June 2, 1925 in Daviess County to Beldas and Mary Jane (Grider) Dant. She was a member of St Peter Catholic Church and St. Peters Altar Society. Surviving are two daughters, Theresa Rawley of Montgomery and Marla Bough of Linton; two brothers Ambrose Dant of Washington and Marion Dant of Montgomery; seven grandchildren, Ramona Briggeman and Brendan Dillon both of Washington, Tony Dillon of Mt Juliet, Tn. Ashley Rawley of Montgomery, Jeremy Haag of Evansville, April Wilson and Michael Pierce of Decatur; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond "Elmer" Dillon whom she married February 15, 1947 and he died January 17, 1992; one son Raymond Dillon; one daughter, Deborah Haag; one grandson Daniel Haag; three sisters and five brothers. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Montgomery with Father Jim Koressel and Father Lowell Will as con-celebrants. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary with a rosary at 4 p.m. Condolences may be sent online at edleemortuary.com.
