Elizabeth passed from her Earthly home in to heavenly home on Thursday, February 17, 2022, she was born Sept. 25, 1933 to William Kirsch and Margaret (Mandabach) Kirsch. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1951. While in high school she worked at Kramer's. After graduating high school she worked at Meadow Gold. She married James L. Browning on June 16, 1956. She was a member of St. Mary's Church, Washington, and Our Lady of Hope. She was a former member of Legion of Mary, Brute Society and St. Vincent de Paul society. She loved working WC bingos and loved treating everyone with her baked goods. Liz always enjoyed having fun and never passed up a chance to laugh.
Her children are Annette (Joe) Hall, W. VA, Ellen (Kevin) Pride, Washington, Karen (Tom) Taylor, Indianapolis, Jo (Verlin) Nash, Greenfield, Philip Browning, Washington. Grandchildren are Matt (Megan) Pride, Washington, Mike Pride, Washington, James Taylor, Indianapolis, Laura Nash, Virginia, John (Emily) Nash, Greenfield, BJ (Kelci) Hall, W. VA and some very special nieces and nephews. Great grandchildren are Mya Pride, Tinlee Pride, Zander Pride, Jessica Pride, Shelby Pride, all of Washington, Kensington Nash, Lincoln Nash, Hudson Nash, all of Greenfield, Maddox Hall, W. VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Browning, parents William and Margaret Kirsch, daughter, Janet, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 21, 4-7 p.m. at Ed L. Lee Mortuary 620 E. Viola Ave, Washington 47501. Funeral will be on Tuesday, Feb. 22nd, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church 315 N.E. 3rd St, Washington 47501.
