Edith (Murphy) Hazelton passed away at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Eastgate Manor Nursing Center. Born July 1, 1924 in Manhattan, Montana she was the daughter of Peter and Mae (Harby) Ruegamer. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband Charles Hazelton; one daughter Evon Murphy of Washington; two sons Robert Wayne Murphy and James Allen Murphy both of Washington; two sisters, Dorothy Bayliss of Seattle, Washington and Elva Hazen of Scottsdale, Arizona; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Holley; four brother and two sisters. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating.
