Doris O. Rhoads, age 76, of Washington, passed away at 7:20 a.m. Saturday at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home. She was born January 7, 1934 in Washington to Harry and Myrtle (Myers) Bush. She had worked at RCA at Bloomington, Eastgate Manor Nursing Home and in home healthcare as a Nurse's aid. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Rhoads; and four sisters, Clara Habig of Jasper, Kay Mahan of Jeffersonville, Carolyn Sue Hudson and Helen Plummer both of Washington. She was preceded in death by her parent; two brothers, Bill Bush, Harry Bush Jr.; three sisters, Betty Osborn, Shirley Morning, Kathryn Bush, and Jean Kitz. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Gove Cemetery with ev Jim Payton officiating. There will be no visitation. Ed Lee Mortuary is handling arrangements.
