Donald R. Sullivan age 85 of Washington passed away on Tuesday at davies Community Hospital. He was born on March 4, 1923 in Daviess County to Roy C. and Goldie (Hitch) Sullivan. He was a Word War II Army Veteran. Had worked 35 years for McCord Manufacturing and then worked for Davies County Highway Department from were re retired. Surviving are his wife Robertine Opal (Charles) Sullivan; four sons, Donald E. Sullivan, David L. Sullivan, and Jerry D. Sullivan all of Washington, and Darrell A. Sullivan of Blue Springs, Mo.; one daughter, Lola K. Page of Washington; three brothers, Woodson Sullivan of Bicknell, and Doyle Sullivan and Roy Sullivan Jr. both of Washington; one sister Patty Sullivan of Petersburg; ten grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers Morris Sullivan, Bob Sullivan, William Sullivan, and Dale Sullivan; three Sisters Peggy Porter, Geneva Guy, and Virginia Lawyer. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 Pm on Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Condolences may be made online at www.edleemortuary.com
