Donald J. 'Don' Kenworthy age 60 of Washington passed away on Friday at 1:54 PM at St Mary Medical Center in Evansville. He was born on November 26, 1946 in Washington to Joseph W. and Donna (Overbay) Kenworthy. He was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and had attended Vincennes University. He had retired from Washington City Utilities after 39 years of service as a electrical serviceman. He married Donna (McBride) Kenworthy on November 21, 1970. Don was a loving husband for over 36 years to his wife and was a devoted father, grandfather, and son. Surviving are his wife, Donna (McBride) Kenworthy; one daughter and son in-law, Lori Ann and Todd Gress of Washington; one son and daughter in-law, Ryan and Mindy Kenworthy of Washington; five grandchildren, Brooke Gress, Derek Gress, Kaitlyn Gress, Lauren Kenworthy, and Emma Kenworthy all of Washington; his mother, Donna (Overbay) Kenworthy of Washington; and one brother and sisteri-law, John H. and Debbie Kenworthy of Loogootee. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph W. Kenworthy in 1996 and one nephew, John E. Kenworthy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St Simon Catholic Church with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant and entombment will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Monday from 4 to 8 PM at ST. Simon Catholic Church with a wake service at 5 PM.
