Donald L. Conley age 70 of Washington passed away at 12:01 on Tuesday at his residence. He was born on June 12, 1938 in Washington to William A and Wilma (Wilkerson ) Conley. He was an avid Tony Stewart NASCAR fan and love North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball. He is survived by one sister, Betty James of Washington; three brothers, Bill Conley, Franklin Conley and Charles Conley all of Washington; six step-daughters, Elaine Mullis and Sharon Sermersheim both of Jasper, Connie Alsman and Brenda Lowbush both of Washington, Debra Pattengale of Mellott and Patty Wade of Springville; two step-sons, Bobby Hartley and Michael Hartley both of WEashington; 18 step-grandchildren; and 30 Step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marjorie Jean Conley on July 31, 1987; his second wife, Betty Conley on June 27, 2007; three sisters, Thelma Foster, Ann Conley, Josephine Hooten; and one brother Jack Conley. Funeral Services will be on Friday at 11:00 AM at Ed Lee Mortuary with Rev. Bill Stotts officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
