Deloris "Ann" Brown, age 77 of Washington, passed away July 20, 2015 at 3:58 pm at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born August 3, 1937 in Washington Lylian "Dale" (Bledsoe) and Carl Cottee. She was a Washington High School graduate and attended ISU and Evansville Beauty College. She worked as a CNA at Prairie Village. Most recently she worked as a teacher at Head Start. She really loved to cook for everyone. She is survived by five children. Sons; David (Susie) Brown of Washington, Carl (Cathy) Brown, Sydney L. Brown of Washington, Phillip Brown Sr. of Evansville, and a daughter; Della Shew from Phoenix, AZ, eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of Ann''s life will be at Antioch Christian Church on Thursday at 5:00 pm with Pastor Yolonda Granger Bostic officiating. Friends may call from 3 - 5 pm at Antioch Christian Church. Burial will be at a later date.
