David R. Durnil, age 68, of Washington, went to his heavenly home on Friday at 6:46 AM. He was born on July 2, 1947 in Washington to Hanley and Imogene (Booker) Durnil. He was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, He was a member of the Washington American Legion and VFW. He greatest joy was spending time with his sons and their wives and his grandchildren. He also enjoyed taking care of his lawn. He is survived by his wife, Dawn Durnil; two sons, Trig (Susan) Durnil of Washington and Seth (Allison) Durnil of Grandview; seven grandchildren, Nicholas (Jaclyn) Durnil, Lily Durnil, Noah Durnil, Mason Durnil, Nolan Durnil, Haden Durnil, Abram Durnil. Dave was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Ralph Durnil A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating.
