David J. Bryant., age 57, of Washington, passed away August 31, 2017 at Daviess Community Hospital.

He was born on February 6, 1960 in Fontana, California to Verlyn and James Bryant, Sr. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and he had worked for many years as a maintenance engineer at Midwest Reality. He loved talking to people, playing pool and working on his landscaping and garden, and was also an avid 49ers football fan. He was a kind and generous soul who loved his cats and was always willing to help people in need.

He is survived by his surrogate family, Mary and Richard Combs and Elizabeth, Cristina, Tamara, Brian, Andrew, Sophia and Oliver Waller; and Doug, Laurie, Felicia, Matt and Withiem; and community of close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Friday  with a rosary at  7 PMat Ed Lee Mortuary.

Burial will be at a later date
