David G. Bassler age 63 of Washington, passed away at 11:20 AM on Sunday at Washington Nursing Center. He was born on September 9, 1945 in Washington to Robert and Kathryn (Gordon) Bassler. He graduated in 1963 from Washington Catholic High School and was self employed most of his life. He is survived by one daughter and son in-law, Lisa and Robert Watkins of Washington; two grandchildren, Andrew Watkins and Amelia Watkins both of Washington; one sister, Barbara Steiner of Montgomery; and one brother, Stephen Bassler of Washington. Funeral services will be on Friday at 7:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
