Dale E. Rogers, 71, passed away at his Odon residence September 9, 2022. He was born in Oakland City to Charles E. and Doris (Burdett) Rogers on November 12, 1950. He married Sarah (Spath) Rogers on April 6, 1984, and she survives.

Dale served his country honorably in the United States Navy. He retired after thirty-seven years from NWSC (Crane) where he was an explosives handler. He enjoyed fishing and loved to do yard work.

Dale is survived by his wife, Sarah Rogers, two sisters: Mary (Lester) Hume of Rockville, Illinois; Jackie (Jack) Hamm of Petersburg; and one brother, Butch (Rita) Rogers of Jasper.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Doris Rogers; and a sister, Carol Waylee.
