Daisy M. Carrico, age 92, of Washington, passed away at 6:32 AM on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Washington Nursing Center. She was born on January 6, 1924 in Daviess County. She was a member RSVP and was a past member of the Washington Eagles Auxiliary. She had work at RCA and Sarkes Tarzian . She had volunteer at several nursing homes. She is survived by six grandchildren, Shawn Carrico of McAlisterville , PA, Jack Carrico of Huntingburg, Brian Carrico of Bedford, Tammy Gieseke of Washington, Nadtalie Brownell of Vincennes, and Mark Fields of Loogootee; Several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her four children, Sharon Fields, Paul Carrico, William Carrico, and John Carrico; one sister, Irene Wade; one brother, Tom Stephens; two grandchildren, Billy Joe Carrico and Melissa Missy'' Carrico. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM on Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 PM at Ed Lee Mortuary.
