Craig Geary, 61, of Washington, went to his heavenly home at 3:25 pm on Wednesday August 29th at the home of his sister.

Craig was born on January 21st, 1957 to Wilma (Ketchem) Geary, and Johnnie Geary Sr. Craig was a 1975 graduate of Washington High School. Before retiring he worked in Maintenance at Shepard Hills Apts. He also worked at Christ United Methodist Church as their caretaker, and for Tokheim on their final assembly line.

Craigs hobbies included collecting knives and guns, fishing, and watching classic TV shows.

He is survived by one sister Tracy (Tom) Bennington of Washington; sister-in-law, Mary (Johnnie) Geary, of Ashland Kentucky. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Johnnie Geary Jr. and Steven Geary Sr.

A celebration of life open house will be held on Saturday, September 1st from 12:00 – 3:00 PM at the Villa clubhouse behind the Villages at Oak Ridge 1694 Troy Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Oak Grove Caretakers, 2306 Washington, Indiana 47501.
