Connie Swafford, 71, of Washington, passed away September 27, 2018.

She was born in Washington, Indiana on August 7, 1947, to Ernest and Marguerite (Traylor) Cox.

Connie graduated from Washington High School and enjoyed reading and listening to country music.

She is survived by daughter, Tammy (Troy) Moore of Washington; brother, Steven (Barbara) Cox of Washington; sister, Darlene (Charles) Riker of Washington; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Gerald Cox, William Cox and Doug Cox; sister, Patricia Pettigrew.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Ed Lee Mortuary Downtown Chapel, 101 North Meridian Street, Washington, IN 47501. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1st, at Ed Lee Mortuary Downtown Chapel.
