Connie Myers, age 70, of Washington, passed away 6:58 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Eastgate Manor Nursing Home. She was born on June 25, 1944 in Washington to Cleda (Morton) and Herschel Myers Sr. She was a member of the Washington Eagles, American Legion Auxillary and the VFW Auxillary. She enjoyed stain glass and her puppy. She is survived by two daughters, Rea Goffinet of Houston, Texas and Susan (Mervin) Cummins of Washington; one son Garold Morgan Jr. of Newburgh; one sister, Nancy (Ambrose) Dant of Washington; special friend, Tooter Morgan of Washington; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister Marilyn Kiesterson; and one brother, Roy Myers (Herschel Myers Jr.) Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
