Claire M. Hock, age 83 of Washington, formerly of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away at 4:16 on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Villages of Oak Ridge. She was born on June 3, 1933 in Bellevue, Kentucky to William and Clare (Carruthers) Fredwest. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She is survived by three sons; Paul Hock of Bloomington, Tom (Cindy ) Hock of Montgomery, and Mark Hock of Fairfield, Ohio; two step granddaughters, Charlene and Melinda Steiner. She was preceded in death by her husband Herman L. Hock whom she married on August 6, 1960; one daughter, Christina Hock; and two brothers, David Fredwest and Bill Fredwest.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Father Paul Ferguson as celebrant. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM till mass time on Tuesday. Burial will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio Memorial donations may be sent to Special Olympics at 3303 Winchester Pike
