Charles John Evans Sr., 68, went to his heavenly home on September 7, 2026.

Charles was born on February 17, 1958, in Pennsylvania, to Richard and Dorothy (McCauley) Evans.

On July 31, 1985, Charles married the love of his life, Helen Evans. Together, they raised their three children and shared more than 40 years of marriage. Charles and Helen built a life centered around their family and the many years and memories they shared together. Her passing on December 31, 2025, left a great absence in his life.

Charles worked at Crane for 31 years. He was a hardworking man who took pride in providing for his family. Quiet and simple by nature, Charles never needed much to be content. He enjoyed being outdoors, working on cars, and, most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Charles was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Charles Evans Jr., Domenic (Lisa) Evans, and Eric Evans; his grandchildren, Hannah Evans, Charles Evans III, Amelia Evans, and Angelina Evans; and his siblings, Richard Evans of Pennsylvania, Bruce Evans of Atlantic City, New Jersey, Linda Govannicci of Pennsylvania, and Danny Evans of Florida.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Dorothy Evans; his beloved wife, Helen Evans; and his brother, Kenneth Evans.

Charles will be remembered as a quiet, hardworking man who found happiness in the simple things in life and in the family he loved.

A private service will be held at a later date.
