Carrie "Jane" Strange, age 89 of Washington, passed away September 28, 2015 at 6:40 p.m. at Washington Nursing Center. She was born March 26, 1926 to Louis A. and Carrie (Hendrickson) Hendrixson in Frichton, Indiana. She attended school in Wheatland. She was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic church. She is survived by a daughter, Patty (Larry) Mullen of Washington, two grandsons; Chris Mullen of Washington and Aaron (Becky) Mullen of Washington, five great-grandchildren; Eli, Brylee, Kylee, Charlee Ann and KJ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Strange whom she married January 15, 1948, on March 22, 1999, three brothers; Arthur W. Hendrickson, Oscar R. Hendrickson, and Woodrow W. Hendrickson, two sisters; Dorothy A. Brown and Catherine E. Hendrickson. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 pm at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow at St. John cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
