Carolyn Lee, age 76, of Washington, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at her residence.
She was born on June 22, 1941 in Washington to Alonzo "Lon" and Rose (Foster) Lee. She graduated from Washington High School in 1959 and had retired from Home Building Savings and Loan where she had worked as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church where she loved to quilt and travel.
She is survived by her sister Joyce Lee of Washington and nephew Dr. Gary Lee Frye and great nephews Josh and Alex Frye both from Lubbock, Texas; brother, Stephen Foster Lee of Washington; niece Tammy (Bruce) Wallace of Newburgh; great niece Brittany (Adam) Brown of Chandler; great niece, Emalee Brown; great nephew, Andrew Wallance; great great nephews, Jacob and Caleb Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Stephen Todd Lee; great niece, Lauren Anne Wallace.
A funeral service will be held on at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Pastor Kenneth Wells officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
