Carl E. Ford, age 87, died Wednesday at 12:10 a.m. at Daviess Community Hospital. He was born April 13, 1927 to Mary Elizabeth (Hughey) and James Walter Ford. He graduated from Washington Catholic School in 1946. Carl was a retired us Army Master Sargent veteran in Korean War and Vietnam War. He was a member of the Washington American Legion and VFW clubs. Surviving is his sister Betty Zinkan of Washington. Preceding Carl in death were his parents; brothers James Robert Ford, Richard Wayne Ford, and Francis Ford; sisters Mary Louise Ford, Elnora Dora Hooten and Marjorie L. Doyle. A mass of Christian burial will be at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. on Friday with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. There will be graveside military rites at St. John Cemetery by the Washington American Legion and VFW. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm on Thursday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Carl E.
