Betty Ann Wood, age 76, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Washington, daughter of Urban Felix Mangin and Catherine Mangin, passed peacefully into eternal life, Saturday, April 10, 2010. She was devoted to her Catholic faith, children, friends and family. The love she expressed for her children will remain in our hearts forever. Betty is survived by her sons, Don, Jeff and Jon; a daughter, Karen Preusz; grandsons,, Austin, Blake, Corey, Wyatt; granddaughters, Stephanie, Angie, and Caitlyn; great grandchildren, Madison, Devin, Haden, Kiley, Connor, and Morgan; and three sisters, Eileen Durnil and Laverne Boyd both of Washington, and Helen Burris of Daytona Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Betty enjoyed playing cards, cooking, and traveling.. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11:00 am AT Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, with Father Gordon Mann as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery.
