Betty Lou Conley, age 76, of Washington passed away at 6:53 a.m. Wednesday at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Born September 10, 1930, she was the daughter of Dellas and Magdalene (Williams) Lents She had devoted over 25 years to her work at Hillside Manor Nursing Home. She is survived by her husband, Donald Conley, whom she married June 9, 1990; five daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon Sermersheim of Jasper, Connie and Jim Alsman and Debra Cropp all of Washington, Patty and Jim Wade of Springville, and Elaine and Stanley Mullis of Bristow; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Darlene Hartley and Michael and Janice Hartley all of Washington; one step-daughter, Brenda Lowbush; one sister, Linda Christenberry of Washington; 18 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and11 step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; two children, Sharon Kay Lents and Mary Catherine Hartley; two grandchildren; and one sister. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
