Bernice P. Lewis, age 99, of Washington, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 10:15 a.m.

She was born on December 15, 1918 in Pike County to Clarence and Ollie Mae (Siegler) Early. She had worked as a dietary aide for Daviess Community Hospital and had belonged to Assembly of God church.

She is survived by her niece, Fredia Grove.

She is preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Wilbur Faith; second husband, Velmar Lewis; sisters, Jesse Adell Fettinger, Mabel Mowery, Bernard Early and Frieda Fay Rodgers; brother, Addis Early.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
