Barbara Ann Woods of Bloomington,formerly of Washington,passed away on Saturday at 7:00 PM at her daughter's residence in Solsberry, IN. She was born in Montgomery to the late Helen (Grannan) and Francis Paul Michaels. She was a 1954 Graduate of Montgomery High School and a 1957 Graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Evansville. Surviving are one son, David C. Woods of Yuma, Az., two daughters and a son-in-law, Julia Ann Woods of Indianapolis, and John and Lea Lemon of Solsberry, six grandchildren, two brothers, Fred Michaels of Glendale and Frank Michaels of Chicago, four sisters, Jane Norris of Yuma, Az., Pat Jones of Loogootee, Sarah Woolsey of Washington and Rosemary Shores of Friendswood, Tx. She married, Alvin Richard Woods, Jr., on October 4, 1958 and he died December 31, 1965 in Vietnam. Also preceding her in death is a daughter, Andre Merrill, and a son Richard F. Woods. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Norbert Kiefle as celebrant.
