Barbara M. Ray, 69, of Loogootee, passed away at 3:27 p.m. Thursday at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville. Born September 27, 1941, in Mt. Carmel, Ill, she was the daughter of Robert A and Dorothy (Conrad) Fox. She graduated from Mesa High School in Mesa, AZ. and worked at Perfect Fit until 2007. Surviving is one son, Anthony "Tony" Ray of Loogootee; one daughter, Sharon "Shelly" Ray of Loogootee; a sister, Norma Hart of Washington; a grandson, Robert Ray of Bedford; five nieces, Shannon (John) Cole of Las Vegas, NV, Sherryl Lundgren of Mesa, AZ, Bobbi Jo (John) Witsman of Monroe City, Ronda (Jerald) Cure of Sterling, CO, and Kerry (Tim) Simpson of St. Peters, Mo; and a nephews, Jim (Katie) Fox of Grand Lake, CO. She is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Wayne Fox and Larry Paul Fox; and three nephews, Samuel Dwayne Fox, Charles Allen Fox, and Michael Gene McWilliams. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Yvonne Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
