Ashley Susan Evans, age 27 of Otwell, passed away at 2:40 PM on Saturday at her residence. She was born on October 29, 1984 in Washington to Thomas and Vickie (Eyman) Evans. She loved spending time with her children and enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Washington Saddle Club. She is survived by her children, Mackenzie Evans and Wyatt Crays at home; her fiance, Chris Crays of Otwell and his mother, Ruth Crays of Ferdinand; step children, Felicia Crays and Tyler Crays both of Jasper; her father and step mother, Tom and Shannon Evans of Washington; Step father, Floyd 'Benny' Potts of Otwell, sisters, Alisha Tomlinson of French Lick and Amanda Gilley of Otwell; brother, Jeremy Evans of Washington; step sisters, Amber Cales, Shyanne Burch, and Katilyn Burch all of Washington, and Amanda McCandless of Evansville; step brother, Terry Potts of Arizona; grandmother, Joyce Evans of Washington; and grandfather, Samuel NeSmith of Texas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Vickie Potts. Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at Ed Lee MortuarY. Burial will follow in New Veale Creek Cemetery.
