Annabell Campbell age 78, of Washington, passed away at 3:05 AM on Thursday at Daviess Community Hospital. She was born on August 15, 1931 in Hastings, Nebraska to Irvin and Emma Elizabeth (Cox) Mays. She was a 1948 graduate of Hastings High School in Hastings, Nebraska. She was a member of the Washington Assembly of God Church. She was a nursing home aid for over 42 years, having worked for the Myers Nursing Home and Washington Nursing Center where she retired on August 29, 1993. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews .She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Campbell on October 8, 2004 whom she married on November 30, 1960. One brother, Clifford Mays and one sister, Minerva Werner are also preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Pastor Bill Burkett officiating. A private burial will be Monday in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon to the hour of services on Sunday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
