Alice Louise Kane age 62 of Loogootee passed away at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at her residences. She was born May 25, 1947 in Indianapolis to Edward and Beulah Mahley. She had worked at Kimball Electronics, was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and former member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Alice loved Nascar, playing bingo, and planting and looking after her flowers. She was also a huge IU fan. She is survived by four sons, Frank Kane Jr., Chris Kane, Jesse Kane, and Michael Kane all of Loogootee; twelve grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister in-law Dottie Sizemore Colvin of Washington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Kane Sr. on February 19, 2000 whom she had married on February 20, 1965. Her parents and one grand son, David Joseph Kane are also deceased A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church at Corning with Father Ryan Hilderbrand as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary.
