Agnes O'Connor age 90 of Loogootee passed away at 5:40 a.m. Thursday morning at her residence in Bramble. She was born November 8, 1916 in Washington to Michael T. and Mary (Doyle) Madden. She was a homemaker, a 1935 graduate of Epsom High School, a graduate of Indiana Business College, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble, St. Joseph Altar Society, and the D of I. Surviving are three sons, John O'Connor, Edward O'Connor, and Pat O'Connor all of Loogoootee; six daughters, Mary Catherine O'Connor of Bedford, Nora Blessinger of Colorado, Joan Bitler of Sullivan, Margaret Speer of Virginia, Dorothy O'Connor of Bloomington, and Martha Rossman of Cloverdale; 15 grandchildren and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel O'Connor, whom she married May 22, 1947 and he died September 23, 2005; her parents; step-mother, Mae McGovern; two brothers, Leo and Bernard Madden; and one sister, Mary Mertz. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St Joseph Catholic Church in Bramble with Father Michael Madden and Father Joseph Erbacher as con-celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery Barr Township. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary and from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
